The Most & Least Kid-Friendly U.S. Airports

Picture this - Tiny humans determined to test the limits of their vocal cords, from the soaring highs of excitement to the bumpy lows of meltdowns & "Are we there yet?" choruses. Toy cars taking laps around the security checkpoint, & the endless pursuit of that one missing sock.

Flying with kids is no small feat.

Upgraded Points, recently analyzed a range of factors, including fast Wi-Fi, charging stations, lounges with family rooms, & play areas, to find out

What is the most kid-friendly airports in the United States ?

based on an array of factors, including family restrooms, play areas, average wait times, Wi-Fi speeds, & more. Because let's face it, children have a magical ability to transform boredom into an Olympic sport!

When it comes to kid-friendly airports, it's all about the bells & whistles,

Top 3 Best Airports | Top 3 Worst Airports

  1. Los Angeles International - 71.6

  2. LaGuardia - 68.9

  3. Logan International - 59.2

  1. Southwest Florida International - 17.5

  2. Denver International - 22.4

  3. Chicago Midway International - 25.2

Key Findings - When it came to kid friendly travel;

  1. It seems like almost half of parents (49%) find traveling with their kids to be quite overwhelming—talk about a challenging adventure!

  2. An interesting statistic: after becoming parents, about 1 in 4 of them actually travel much less, which might explain why family vacations can sometimes be a rare occurrence.

  3. It seems that the top priorities for them are having access to fast Wi-Fi & number of device charging stations at airports—keeping the little ones entertained & connected is definitely key!

  4. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) takes the gold medal as the best U.S. airport, while Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) unfortunately lands at the bottom of the list.

Which simply means, if you’re going through those airports at the bottom of the list, you should expect a lot of kicking & screaming on your way.

Now, time to plan your trips accordingly!
Question of the day - What is your favourite airport ?
