After monthās of "Stay Away" campaign, reminding cannabis, drug, & sex tourists that Amsterdam is more than just a playground for bachelor parties. The only thing is - It's not expected to open until 2031.
2. Indonesia is waving a new golden ticket called D1 visa. Picture this: 60 days of Indonesian bliss, over 5 years multiple-entry visa, & all you need is a 6 months passport, some proof that you won't be surviving on instant noodles (at least USD 2,000 in your expenses), your glamorous color photo, & a few extra documents to seal the deal.
3. Great news, future Deutsch darlings! Germanyās dual citizenship law might be passed in January 2024. Once the law enters into force, foreign nationals can soon juggle their original citizenship along with the German one.
Attractions
š¤ HOBBIT HOLES - Pack your bags, Tolkien enthusiasts! The "set-jetting" (a.k.a. traveling to visit popular filming locations) trend is hitting peak excitement in 2024 as Hobbiton's iconic Alexander Sheep Farm, famous for its role in "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" trilogies, is throwing open the doors of its hobbit holes to fans worldwide as shown in these pictures.
For over two decades, these subterranean dwellings have been the stuff of dreams, but now you can actually stroll through the Proudfoot and Twofoot family residences on Bagshot Row ā once hobbit homes to the legendary Bilbo and Frodo Baggins. It's not just a trip, it's a real-life Middle-earth adventure, and the sheep are probably wondering why everyone's suddenly so obsessed with their backyard!
š KISS KISS - Last week, the curtain rose on a new selfie spot called "Kiss Bridge" where you can kiss your loved one & capture a beautiful moment with the backdrop of romantic sunset. Located in Vietnam's Phu Quoc Island, this bridge as shown here, was a brainchild of Italian architect Marco Casamonti & Sun Group.
Inspired by Michelangelo's finger-pointing finesse, this is an 800-meter (half a mile) love runway, with halves so close yet so far, separated by a mere 30 centimeters, which demands couples to pucker up at a strategic 30-centimeter gap. Why? Because every January 1st, the sun plays matchmaker, perfectly slotting its rays through this architecturally alluring pecking point.
š„18 AWARDS - Los Cabos is officially flexing its travel muscles, snagging the coveted title of "Best Destination in Mexico" at the Readers Choice Awards. It's not bragging if you can back it up, right? Well, Los Cabos did just that, collecting 18 awards in 2023, including "Best Sustainable Destination" at the World Travel Awards and the "Destination with the Highest Customer Satisfaction" crown at AMAV. U.S. travel agents have given a nod to its exclusivity and hospitality, but let's not forget the real star ā the sensory spa-gasm, sunset-drenched, seafood-scented paradise that is Los Cabos! Your move, rest of Mexico!
